Level I |
We bake the cake with the “Foundation Techniques” Breath Control - One must be able to breathe correctly, from the diaphragm. Support - Proper supporting of the tone alone with correct breath control. Ear Training - One must be able to hear tones from the piano, also have the perception of knowing when singing off key. Range - This technique automatically works when you have accomplished the breath control and support technique
In level I we have to make sure the cake is baked with the foundation techniques. We can not move to level II without level I being accomplished. |
Level II |
We call this level “Icing The Cake” - Designed to smooth out the hard and somewhat over exxaggerated vocal techniques process.
- Starting to prepare for singing a song. Here are some of the techniques you will be exposed to: Vibrato, Dynamics, Smooth out the Break, Sight Singing, Articulation and Strength.

Level III |
We call this level the “Final Touch” meaning in level I we baked the cake, level II we iced the cake, now in level III we decorate the cake. This level consists of: - Light warm up exercises.
- Most of time will be spent working on a song.
- At this point we are now starting to prepare you for a showcase.
